Getting started
Is this really free to start?
Yes, completely. Finding out whether you're owed money costs nothing, and there are no upfront or consultation fees at any point. We're only paid a share if and when we recover money for you.
How do I find out if I'm owed money?
Just send us a message or call with the property address. We'll look into it for you and let you know — usually within one to two business days — whether you may be owed money.
What information do you need from me first?
To start, only the property address and a way to reach you. We don't ask for sensitive documents until there's confirmed money to claim and you've decided to move forward.
Am I obligated to continue after I reach out?
Never. Reaching out simply lets us check on your behalf. You're free to walk away at any point before signing, with no cost and no pressure.
Costs & fees
How much is your fee?
Our fee is a percentage of the funds we recover. You'll know exactly what it is before you sign anything — there are no surprises.
When do I pay you?
Only after we've successfully recovered your funds. Our fee is deducted from the recovered amount, so nothing ever comes out of your pocket directly.
What if you don't recover anything?
Then you owe us absolutely nothing. There's no bill, no cancellation fee, and no cost of any kind. The entire risk is ours.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. No application fees, filing fees, consultation fees, or administrative charges. The only money we ever receive is our share of a successful recovery.
The process
How long does recovery take?
Most claims resolve in 60–120 days, depending on the court's schedule. Some move faster, a few take longer — we keep you updated at every step so you're never left wondering.
Will I have to go to court?
In almost all cases, no. We prepare the filings and represent your claim through the process. If your personal involvement is ever required, we'll prepare you fully and be right there with you.
What do you need from me during the claim?
Usually just proof of identity and a signed recovery agreement. Occasionally a notarized form. We handle the filings and follow‑ups so you don't have to.
How will I get paid?
Once the court releases the funds, your share is sent directly to you by check or transfer — whichever you prefer — along with a clear accounting of the recovery.
Eligibility
Who qualifies?
If you lost a home to foreclosure, you (or your heirs) may be owed money. The easiest way to find out is to send us the property address for a free check.
The foreclosure was years ago — is it too late?
Maybe not. Many states allow claims for a number of years after the sale, though deadlines vary. The sooner you reach out, the better your chances — so it's always worth asking.
Can I claim on behalf of a relative who passed away?
Often, yes. Heirs and estates may be entitled to money owed after a foreclosure. We can walk you through what documentation would be needed for your specific situation.
Which states do you serve?
We currently serve 32 states and are expanding. Reach out with your property's location and we'll confirm right away whether we can help.
Trust & safety
Why haven't I heard about this money?
It's surprisingly common for money like this to go unclaimed — official notices often never reach people who have moved after a foreclosure. The easiest way to find out is to let us check for you, free.
How do I know you're legitimate?
We're licensed and bonded, BBB A+ accredited, and rated 4.9/5 by the families we've served. We explain our fee before you sign and never charge anything upfront.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We never sell or share your information, and we only collect what's strictly necessary to pursue your claim. Your privacy and dignity matter to us.
Can't I just do this myself?
Honestly, it's rarely that simple. Recovering this money involves strict filing requirements, court procedures, and unforgiving deadlines that trip up most people who attempt it alone — and a single misstep can mean losing it for good. We handle the entire process for you, and because there's no upfront cost, there's nothing to lose by letting us take it off your plate.

Still have a question?

Ask us anything — there's no cost and no pressure. A real person will get back to you within one business day.
